Lansweeper API Integration
For users leveraging Lansweeper Cloud, Licenseware offers a direct integration to ingest inventory data. This is 1 time setup and takes about 5 minutes to complete. Alternatively on-prem users can upload custom reports exported from Lansweeper.
👉 🔗 Lansweeper integration Guide
Please note this API will be established only for the project it was integrated with
Processing
A number of reports will begin processing:
Navigate to the Reports section from the sidebar. You'll find two tabs:
-
Reports – Auto-generated reports based on your uploaded or connected data
-
Custom – Where you can design your own dashboards (see Creating Custom Reports)
Invite colleagues to your Project
Projects in Licenseware act as isolated environments. They manage user access, keep data segregated, and can be used to organize work.
Now you have the API setup in your project, invite your colleagues to it ensuring you are sharing the project with the active integration:
Select Invite to invite your colleagues:
IMPORTANT
When your colleagues accept the invitation and register an account, THEY MUST ensure the correct project is made active by heading to Projects -> Shared with me
RECCOMENDED
At this point in time we also recommend inviting "neo@licenseware.io" so your custom insights report can also begin generating.
