Uploading Contract Documents

Learn how to upload, manage and analyze contract documents in LCM.

In LCM, you can upload supporting documents, such as master agreements, order forms and vendor addenda, and attach each one to a contract or to a license. This keeps your contractual data and the documents that prove it together, in one place, audit-ready.

The same uploaded documents are the input for NEO Insights, which produces full risk assessments, market benchmarks and negotiation playbooks from your contracts.

Where to upload

  1. In LCM, open the Documents tab.
  2. Click the upload button at the top right of the list.

How to upload

  1. Drag and drop your files into the dialog, or click Browse to select them. You can upload docx, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, tar, tar.gz, tgz, tif, tiff, webp and zip files, up to 18 MB each.
  2. Choose what to do with them:
    • Add as evidence attaches the document to a contract or a license you already hold.
    • Extract with NEO has NEO read the document and extract the contract and license data for you to review. See LCM Document OCR for how that works.
  3. For Add as evidence, select the contract or the license you want to attach the document to, in the Contract or Licenses field.
  4. Click Upload.

What happens next

The document is attached to the contract or license you chose and is visible to anyone with access to that record, and it becomes available for AI analysis.

What “Needs your attention” means

A document marked Needs your attention in the Documents tab is one NEO has read and can use to update your contract and licenses directly. Open it to review what NEO found and accept the changes. See LCM Document OCR for how the review works.
