Events tab

The Events tab acts as a lightweight audit trail for all processed data, showing exactly what was uploaded, when, and through which uploader. It's especially useful for maintaining visibility and traceability during large or collaborative projects.

The Events tab provides a chronological overview of all data processing actions within a specific application. It serves as a real-time activity log, helping users track the status of each data source uploaded and confirming whether processing has been completed successfully.

Key Features

  • Timeline View
Events are displayed in order, showing when data was processed, including timestamps and the type of data source used.

  • Uploader Reference
Each event clearly lists the uploader name (e.g., SCCM Queries, Office365, BigFix Software Report), making it easy to identify which dataset was processed.

  • Quick Access to Uploaders
The Open Uploader link next to each event provides direct access to the relevant uploader, allowing users to upload new data or reprocess existing datasets without navigating back manually.

When to Use the Events Tab

  • To confirm successful data processing after an upload.

  • To track recent activity for audit or collaboration purposes.

  • To navigate quickly back to the relevant uploader if changes or reuploads are needed.

Notes

  • This tab is application-specific. You must navigate to the desired app (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Manager) to view its event log.

  • Events help ensure transparency in multi-user or service provider environments where multiple data uploads may occur.
