Freshservice

Freshservice is an API integration. Connect it before you export a file.

Sign in as an agent. Open your profile picture, then Profile settings. The API key is on the right, below the password section. Copy it.

The key acts as that agent. Freshservice documents this on the API page. Use an agent who can view assets.

1. Open Datasources from the sidebar and click Freshservice.
2. Click Connect. Documentation is at the top right of the source page.
3. Fill the required fields. Each one is marked with *.
   • Instance URL. The placeholder is https://acme.freshservice.com.
   • API Key
4. Verify connection and Save credentials stay disabled until every required field is filled. Click Verify connection first, then Save credentials.

Export the asset list from Freshservice as CSV, with device name, software name, version and publisher, and upload it to the SIM template.
