What OJDM does and when to use it
Oracle Java Deployment Manager (OJDM) finds Java on servers and clients and separates installs that need an Oracle license from installs that do not.
Oracle Java Deployment Manager
Use it when a Java install on one machine might be an employee-wide subscription:
- Where is Java installed, and which versions are out of support?
- Which installs are licensable, and which are free for personal use?
- Is the requirement processor, Named User Plus, or employee?

Open it from Apps, then Oracle Java Deployment Manager. The report card is Oracle Java Deployment Overview.
Connect Lansweeper when that inventory is already there. Otherwise run the Java collector. The Oracle Java template is the fallback. The OJDM Collector output is a file source on Data sources when you already have a collection.
